  1. Installation floor: formed concrete floor, and the floor under machine shall be treatedwith special seismic measures.Compression resistance>15kg/m2 2.The rack shall be placed on the position shown in the following figure, and shall be flush with there-bar stirrup bender. 3.The rack shall be no less than 5m away from the feed opening of bender in order to minimize the feeding angle,as shown below.

  1. It isbetter to supply the bender with a separate transformer in order to avoid mutual interference with other machines, and the capacity of separate transformer shall be no less than 30KVA and current of leakage circuit breaker shall be
  2. TN-S 415V. One zero line and one ground line, and ground line must be grounded effectively. 6. Control cabinet shall be connected to outside power by 4x6mm2 water-proof coppercables. 7. Cable shall be covered by hard objects or buried underground to protect against harmorelectric leakage. 8. The operating platform shall be placed on the position shown in the following figure,so there is enough room left for apath to walk and observe the machine.
  3. Preparations before Work

1.Operators must wear safety helmets properly during work.

  1. Before powering on the machine, responsible staffs of each operation team shall lubricate relevant mechanical components with oil guns and handlances according to Lubrication Signboard, and the machine can be powered on after the power supply andallelectric circuits are checked and it is confirmed that they work normally. 3.Feeding:steelbarsshallbepulledoutfromfeederandrovetoguideframe.
  2. Double(single)steel barsfrom theguide frame are fed into horizontal straightening mechanism.
  3. Flip the cylinder switch to lift the pinch roller of feeding mechanism, and loose adjustmentwheelsof horizontal and vertical straightening mechanisms. 6.Two steel bars are rovetoslo to horizontal straightening mechanism and fron tends of bars shall reach the position between upper and lower rollers of feeding mechanism (in single-bar mode, the bar only need to pass through the upper slot of horizontal straightening mechanism). 7. Flip cylinder switch to lower the pinch roller of feeding mechanism and compress steel bars, start the servo motor (feed rate: 50mm/s) to feed the steel bar slowly. Then the steel bar goes into the vertical straightening mechanism and Pass through the thread hole of the fixed knife holder and extend it. At this point the feeding work is complete.

(A) Horizontal Straightening

  1. Straightening principles of horizontal straightening mechanism After steel bar is ready for horizontal straightening, all rollers shall be adjusted to rest gently on steel bar, then the steel bar shall be fed manually for careful observation, and proper adjustment shall be made accordingly during manual operation, as shown below.
  1. Straightening methods of horizontal straightening mechanism

1) In horizontal straightening mechanism, the upper steel bar (inner bar) bends inwards,and the lower steel bar (outer bar) bends outwards.

2) In horizontal straightening mechanism, the upper steel bar (inner bar) bends outwards,and the lower steel bar (outer bar) bends inwards.

NOTE:

  1. Please refer to above straightening method for upper bar (inner bar) insingle-bar straightening mode; during adjustment, adjustment roller for lowersteel bar (outer bar) shall be adjusted in cooperation with adjustment roller of upper steel bar (inner bar) in order to align them with each other.
  2. During straightening, both adjustment rollers for upper bar shall be adjustedcooperatively, and so do both adjustment rollers for lower bar; if straightenedsteel bars fail to reach requirements (even if all bolts can’t be adjusted any more),all adjustment bolts shall be loosened for re-adjustment till products reach requirements.
  • Vertical Straightening
  1. Straightening principles of vertical straightening mechanism After the steel bar is ready for vertical straightening, all rollers shall be adjusted to restgentlyon the steel bar,then steel bar shall be fed manually for careful observation, and proper adjustment shall be made accordingly during manual operation, as shown below.
  1. Straightening methods of vertical straightening mechanism 1) In vertical straightening mechanism, inner bar bends upwards, andouter bar bends downwards.
  • In vertical straightening mechanism, inner bar bends downwards, and the outer bar bends upwards
  • Both bars inverticalstraighteningmechanismbend upwards together

4) Both bars in vertical straightening mechanism bend downwards together

5) If steel bars twist during process (open of stirrup deviates significantly from its normal position), two sets of large front wheels of vertical straightening mechanism shall be compressed tightly(as shown below)

NOTE:

  1. It is more difficult to straighten non-conforming steel bars or steel bars withunstable mechanical properties, so above straightening processes shall beconducted for more times till straightened results reach requirements.
  2. Please refer to the above straightening method for inner bar in single-barstraightening mode; during adjustment, adjustment roller for outer bar shall beadjusted in cooperation with the adjustment roller of inner bar in order to align them with each other.
  3. During straightening, both adjustment rollers for inner bar shall be adjustedcooperatively, and so do both adjustment rollers for outer bar; if thestraightened steel bar can’t reach requirements (even if all rollers can not be adjusted any more), all adjustment bolts shall be loosened to re-implement straightening process till products reach requirements.
